Dallas today...

Nathalie, Olivia, AJ, and I got there around 2:30, 2 hours after we had originally wanted to. Once there, we ate lunch at Subway, which was more expensive than in Arlington (known thanks to AJ). Then we went to this cool store like Sharper Image for home furnishings, but we were soon kicked out ("OK, you've all enjoyed the air-conditioning long enough. You have to buy something now"). Then we went to - save my soul - the Apple store. Yes, Macs. Thankfully, that was short-lived, and we quickly made rounds around the block to all the home-stuff stores. There are so many pointless things in those stores. Tiny silverware, pre-antiqued furniture, and even rubber cord-holders. Then we drove down to the West End for dinner. On the way to the restaurant, we met a guy selling roses.

Yada, Yada, Yada.*

Thus, the girls now had roses. We ate dinner, walked aimlessly around Dallas for a little while ("Be careful! Someone was shot here once"), and ultimately decided to rent a movie. Punch-Drunk Love is a very good movie. Great lighting, cinematography, acting, and cool plot. The only bad thing is that it moved a little too fast, but still was very good.

*to whom it may concern: I know...I suck...
