I'm back from a wonderful vacation!

I took over 500 pictures which are on Nathalie's laptop right now, so I can't post any of them. And I will be extremely busy the next few days with my brother's wedding and family reunion. Expect an update relatively soon telling all about my trip. Until then:

Happy Birthday To Moi

In less than 13 hours I will be in a plane headed to Raleigh, NC. From there, Nathalie and I will take a plane to London where we will have a 10 hour delay. We plan on taking the subway to Buckingham Palace and maybe seeing the changing of the guards while we're there for so short. Then we'll take a one-hour flight across the English Channel to Paris (pronounced without the 's')!!!

I got an unabridged dictionary from Olivia for my birthday and a shirt and cologne from my sisters. My parents got me the plane ticket and some new tennis shoes (finally) to take to France. And I get half the money (about $150) from the garage sale we've been having the last two days.

I'm way too excited to just sit here and type, so I'm going to go away now until the 25th of May. I promise that I'll post upon my return. Expect pictures. If you care.

I'm home, and I have been for a while now. I just haven't gotten around to posting because my computer, which I set up in my room, is not hooked up to the internet. I will have to network the computers in my house now, but it'll be fun.

The drive back home with AJ was really fun, and it took a little more than 16 hours. It usually only takes 15 hours, but we stopped a lot. And I got AJ hooked on CS again...now with Steam.

I got a 4.0 again this semester! W00T!!!

Nope! But I am going to Paris on Sunday!!!!! Nathalie was maybe going with her parents to France, and I wasn't going to go because I need to pay for college next semester, but my parents are paying for a plane ticket there and back for me for my birthday (which is Saturday)!

I'm driving home on Friday! And AJ's plane gets here at 11:09 a.m. tomorrow! He'll sit around (I'm sure there's something to do here) while I take my final final (vector analysis), and then I'll go show him all the pretty campus. We'll pack all my stuff into my wonderful Liberty tomorrow night and drive the 15 hours back on Friday! Yay!

Nathalie and I have now been dating for over nine months! I love her! Of course...you all already knew that.

Elephants and Walri

Today I sold back half of my books: my organic chemistry book and student manual and linear algebra book. I sold the linear algebra book (bad book) for $20, but the organic chem book (good book) and manual sold for $122! That's good, too, because I needed a new mouse since mine has been kind of screwy recently. So I went out to Best Buy (there is no Fry's here), and I bought another Microsoft five-button IntelliMouse for myself. By the way, that's the greatest mouse ever.

On the way to the store, I realized that I'm really mad at myself for dropping and cracking open my digital camera earlier this semester. I saw a car with licence plate '1337'! I was quickly confused by the old man driving the car, though. As I got off the interstate, I saw another car this time with licence plate 'L1NUX'. Now given, I don't know Linux any more than I know other stuff I don't know anything about, but I still honked at the guy while sitting behind him at a stoplight. He looked in his rearview mirror to see me giving him a thumbs up and pointing at his licence plate. And he even waved at me... Bill Gates wouldn't wave at me...

My first exam is tomorrow. I should be able to get a lot of sleep tonight, because I'm tired from staying up until 6:15 doing computer science last night/this morning. It was lots of fun, though, and I realized in doing it that I really miss computer science. I should take a class in it next semester.

Dinosaurs! Roar!

Today I downloaded Mozilla Firefox 0.8, and I set up all my preferences and cool stuff like that. I really like this browser. It's got a cool feature where I can type in the address bar 'define < word >' and it will go to dictionary.com for the definition or 'google < term >' and it will google the term. And it has cool skins you can choose from. You can also open a whole folder of favorites in different tabs within the window at the same time! And lots of stuff is really customizable. I highly suggest it for anyone thinking about getting it (and I know at least a little about computer stuff).

I have one exam each on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, all at 2:00 p.m. And I don't have to take my organic final! My professor emailed me and said I had an 88.9 in the class but that I could exempt the final with an A! Then on Thursday night, I'm going to pack everything up and maybe watch the last episode of Friends. On early (6 or 7 a.m.) Friday, I'll leave the University of South Carolina and start the rest of my life and happiness! Oh, and AJ may even fly up here to drive down to Arlington with me!

I can't wait 3 weeks for the season finale of Alias!!
